I've prepared some examples of work on topics that came up
during our discussion and other points of interest.I have organized
this work in the following categories:
Metrics Examples in SharePoint - Provides examples of how I have
leveraged SharePoint to both collect information and to provide information
repositories and management dashboards.
Project Portfolio Health and Reporting - This touches on how
the Indymac PMO was reporting project health and metrics on the health of the
project portfolio.
Human Resource Management - These are some examples of how
we worked on reducing the workforce size in Information Technology at Indymac.
The examples show slightly different ways of reporting information in a clear
and concise way.
Information Collection - This section provides two examples
of analyzing the need for information and presenting it in a way that people
would understand from a big picture perspective what information is needed throughout
the year.This aided in information
collection planning and a collection source for information for ad-hoc
reporting requirements.
Reporting - This section provides an example of a high-level
project status report that was presented in the Board of Directors packet.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of examples, but only
touches on some of the topics we discussed during the interview process and other areas that may be of interest to CBE.I would certainly enjoy sharing more examples
of my experience with the group. I am very much looking forward to the possibility of joining the CBE team.
